TACOMA, Wash. — A man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in Tacoma, police said.
South Sound 911 got a call around 4:40 p.m. reporting a man who had been shot in a parking lot in the 8700 block of S. Hosmer Street.
Officers responded and after performing life-saving measures, the man was declared dead.
Detectives are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
