Man injured in Everett shooting; suspect arrested

EVERETT, Wash. — A man was arrested early Thursday morning after a shooting that left another man injured in Everett, police said.

Before 3 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at a bus stop in the 11800 block of Airport Road.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his 40s with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Officers found the suspect, a man in his 30s, in a nearby business and arrested him. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

Police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
