Man brutally attacked and robbed in Seattle

SEATTLE — Seattle police said a man walking through a parking lot on Rainier Avenue was violently attacked, kicked in the head and had his wallet and keys stolen on July 31.

Around 6:15 p.m., police said the incident happened behind a Cash America store on Rainier Avenue and the entire event was captured on a surveillance camera.

The victim is seen walking through the parking lot and appears to speak to another man wearing an orange and yellow shirt, then they start to fight.

The video shows the victim knocked down to the sidewalk and the man kicks him in the head, and while he’s unconscious, steals the man’s wallet and keys.

Seattle police say someone eventually helped the victim and called 911.

He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center for injuries to his head and face.

Police are looking for the man that attacked him and are hoping someone saw something and will give them a call.
