Pedestrian killed in Lake City hit-and-run

SEATTLE — A man is dead after being struck by a hit-and-run driver late Tuesday night in Seattle, police said.

The collision happened at the intersection of 30th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 127th Street at about 10:45 p.m.

According to police, a person called 911 to report an injured man lying in the road.

When medics arrived, they provided aid but the 58-year-old man died at the scene.

No description of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run has been given.

The investigation remains ongoing.
