SEATTLE — Coach Bumblebee, the namesake of Seattle’s Bumblebee Boxing Club, passed away on Oct. 28.
Bumblebee was one of the top amateur and professional featherweights in the United States.
He coached his grandson, David Jackson, to representing the United States at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Visitation will be held Wed, Nov. 10 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Greater Mount Baker Baptist Church in Seattle.
