SPOKANE, Wash. — A fired Spokane, Washington, police officer convicted of raping two women while on duty has been sentenced to 14 years to life in prison.
KREM-TV reports 38-year-old Nathan Nash was sentenced Thursday.
In August, Nash was found guilty of third-degree rape and second-degree rape in separate incidents.
Investigators said in court documents that Nash met both women while responding to assault calls and both women said he raped them when he followed up with them to take photos for evidence.
Nash in court Thursday again denied he committed the crimes and says he plans to appeal.
