SEATTLE — The NFL and The Pro Football Hall of Fame on Monday announced the 52 players and two head coaches selected to the 2010s All-Decade Team.
The following players/coaches who spent the majority, or all, of the decade with the Seahawks made the list: running back Marshawn Lynch, middle linebacker Bobby Wagner, cornerback Richard Sherman, free safety Earl Thomas and head coach Pete Carroll.

Marshawn Lynch
A former first-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2007, Lynch was traded to Seattle in October 2010 -- Carroll’s first season as head coach of the Seahawks.
Lynch would go on to rush for 6,347 yards in 82 regular season games from 2010 to 2015 with the Seahawks. Lynch went on to play for the then-Oakland Raiders for parts of two seasons. He returned to the Seahawks at the end of the 2019 NFL season and played in three total games.
In 12 seasons in the NFL, Lynch has run for 10,413 yards -- good for 29th place all-time in NFL history. Lynch also has 970 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in 13 career playoff games -- all with the Seahawks.
Lynch was selected to the Pro Bowl four times with the Seahawks, was named first-team All Pro in 2012 and helped lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl XLVIII victory over the Denver Broncos.
Bobby Wagner
Wagner was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Utah State University.
Wagner has gone on to play in 119 regular season games and 15 playoff games for the Seahawks. In eight seasons with the Seahawks, Wagner has never recorded less than 100 tackles in a season.
Wagner has been named to the Pro Bowl six times and has been named First Team All-Pro five times.
The Seahawks signed Wagner to a three-year, $54 million contract extension during training camp last year.
Richard Sherman
Sherman, who now plays for the San Francisco 49ers, played seven seasons with the Seahawks after he was drafted in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He was a key member of the “Legion of Boom,” the nickname for Seattle’s dominant secondary in the early 2010’s.
Sherman had 32 interceptions in 105 regular season games with the Seahawks from 2011 to 2017. He led the NFL in interceptions in 2013 with eight when he also helped the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl.

With the Seahawks, Sherman was named to the Pro Bowl four times and was named First Team All Pro three times.
Sherman tore his Achilles tendon in November 2017 against the Arizona Cardinals and was released in the offseason.
Sherman then agreed to a three-year contract with the 49ers, who he helped lead to a Super Bowl appearance last year.
Earl Thomas
Another founding member of the “Legion of Boom,” Thomas was the second player drafted by Carroll and general manager John Schneider when he was taken with the No. 14 pick in the NFL Draft.
In his nine years with the Seahawks, Thomas was named to six Pro Bowls and was been named a first-team All Pro three times.

Thomas appeared in 125 regular season games and recorded 28 interceptions in his Seahawks career. He also added two interceptions in 12 playoff games, including a Super Bowl win with the Seahawks.
Thomas broke his leg early in the 2018 season and went on to sign a four-year contract worth up to $55 million with the Baltimore Ravens last offseason.
Pete Carroll
One of two coaches named to the All Decade Team along with Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll was named head coach of the Seahawks in January of 2010.
Carroll came to Seattle after leading the University of Southern California to two national championships.
In 10 seasons with the Seahawks, Carroll has 100 regular season wins and 10 playoff wins, including a Super Bowl XLVIII championship.
