RENTON, Wash. — A home in Renton was heavily damaged in a fire late Wednesday night.
Fire crews were called to 18400 108th Avenue Southeast in the Benson Hill neighborhood around 11:15 p.m.
Firefighters said they saw smoke and flames in front of the home when they arrived.
Fire officials said a mother and her two children were able to escape.
Officials said the family told them flames and heavy smoke were in the living room.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
