SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — A car was stolen in Sedro-Woolley on early Saturday morning with a 2-year-old child inside, according to a Facebook post from the Sedro-Woolley Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the downtown area of Sedro-Woolley after midnight on Saturday morning concerning a report of a car that was taken without permission.
Officers were told a sleeping 2-year-old was in the car when it was taken.
With assistance from the Burlington Police Department, Skagit County Sheriff’s Office, Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office, and the Washington State Patrol, the child and the car were located within the hour.
The child was unharmed and reunited with their family.
