FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. — A Black Angus bull is dead after being struck by a car and semitruck in Franklin County on Thursday night.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said the bull was on Highway 17 when the car and the semi, which was hauling potatoes, hit the animal.
The driver and passengers in the car suffered minor injuries.
The collision caused both directions of Highway 17, just north of Merion Road and 4 miles north of Mesa, to be blocked.
