SEATTLE — The victim of a hit-and-run crash in Seattle has been identified as a King County official who helped run Boeing Field.
Mike Colmant, 63, was riding his bike on Seward Park Avenue Sunday when he was struck and killed.
Colmant was deputy director of King County International Airport-Boeing Field and worked there for more than two decades.
“Mike was a true professional who dedicated the last 20-plus years to making King County International Airport-Boeing Field better. He was a great colleague and a dear friend. He will be sorely missed,” airport director John Parrott said.
Police are still looking for the driver who left the scene.
Investigators said they are looking for an older model silver Nissan Sentra with a broken windshield and possibly a Washington state license plate, with the first six characters being BKU 053.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or has information on its whereabouts is asked to call 206-233-5000.
