SEATTLE — Grab those coolers and some clean wood, as the Seattle Parks & Recreation department has announced beach fires may resume this Saturday at 4 p.m.
Beach fires are only allowed in designated fire rings at Alki Beach or Golden Gardens Park and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fires should be completely doused by 9:30 p.m., and park staff will be available to assist with putting out fires.
The fire season this year has been designated from Saturday, May 29 to Sunday, Sept. 12.
