Search for missing Indigenous woman last seen on Port Madison Indian Reservation canceled

A Missing Indigenous Person Alert was issued on Monday night for a woman last seen at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on the Port Madison Indian Reservation.

The alert was canceled on Tuesday at 9:21 p.m. Authorities did not give any information other than the alert had been canceled.

The alert was issued by Washington State Patrol on behalf of the Suquamish Police Department.

Kristle Renea Running Hawk, 39, was last seen barefoot and crying out aloud for help on state Route 305, law enforcement said.

Authorities said she appeared to be distressed.

Hawk, who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 125 pounds and has black hair, is said to have gotten into a two-door, late 90s Dodge Ram 2500 green pickup with Washington plates C77103Z. The man driving the pickup is described as Hispanic with a bald head, flat facial features and a mustache.

Anyone who sees Hawk or the pickup is asked to call 911.
