An All Nippon Airways flight leaving from Sea-Tac International Airport to Japan Saturday had to return just after takeoff, an official with the airline said.

A pilot on NH flight 177 decided to safely return to the airport because a cockpit indicator light showed a possible defect of a left air conditioner system, KIRO 7 was told.

Airline officials said the plane eventually got back in the air after maintenance work and refueling was performed.

The flight was delayed four hours.
