GRANT COUNTY, wash. — A 24-year-old man died early Saturday after a collision Friday on Moses Lake, said deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the man was on a personal watercraft in an area south of the I-90 bridge when he collided with another watercraft.

The man was taken to the Laguna community by boat where medics were waiting and then to the hospital where he later died, officials said.

A passenger of the man was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other watercraft operator was not hurt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
