CAMANO ISLAND, Wash. — The firefighters of Camano Island Fire and Rescue were invited to attend a child’s birthday party at Freedom Park on Sunday.
They say they were also invited to bring their fire-truck with them.
'Instead of a few party attendees, we met all of the kids at the park,' wrote the department in their Facebook post.
The department shared the attached, heartwarming photographs.
‘What's cooler than a playground on a sunny day,’ they wrote. ‘A playground with a fire truck!’
