Fife detectives pose as massage parlor customers in prostitution bust

FIFE, Wash. — Fife police arrested seven women on prostitution charges after detectives posed as customers at massage parlors.

Undercover detectives acting as customers said they went to three massage parlors on the Pacific Highway East corridor in Fife and were offered sex and sex-related acts in exchange for money.

On Wednesday, Fife officers served warrants at the parlors located in the 4800 block of Pacific Highway East, the 5100 block of Pacific Highway East and the 1400 block of 54th Avenue East.

Detectives arrested seven women who were cited and charged for prostitution or practicing massage without a license.

Police said an investigation began when the department received complaints about prostitution at the locations
