REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police released surveillance video they say shows two brothers behind a high dollar heist at Microsoft.
Detectives say the pair, both Microsoft employees, stole $200,000 worth of Surface laptops from the company.
Redmond police say video shows Craig Garcia, 37, on the Microsoft campus at 12:30 a.m. back on July 25.
A minute later, they say this video shows Garcia and his brother, Cordaro Galvan, 31, enter Building 88.
The two men are seen huddling at the first floor stairwell. Then the man who appears to be Galvan walks into the camera's view and then quickly turns around.
At 2 a.m., Garcia leaves the building alone.
Then at 2:20 a.m., a man police believe to be Galvan, wearing a hood and mask, is seen pushing a cart full of electronics. He’s seen a minute later, no longer in a hood and mask, still pushing the stolen items which are all brand new in boxes.
Police say the suspects ultimately stole about 180 laptops.
The next clip then shows the man, still lugging the cart, exits building 88.
Meanwhile, police say a surveillance camera captures Garcia again on the sidewalk at around 2:30 a.m. They say his vehicle exits the Microsoft campus shortly after.
One of the men was a full-time employee at Microsoft, another was a vendor.
When KIRO 7's DeeDee Sun covered the heist last week, she visited their Auburn home and met a man who appears to be Galvan who denied knowing anything about the charges.
The brothers have been charged with felony theft.
