KIRKLAND, Wash. — A man was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Kirkland and another man was transported to the hospital, police said.
Police said the crash happened around 10:50 p.m. Friday near Simonds Road Northeast and 92nd Avenue Northeast. The driver was killed when his car left the road and crashed into an embankment.
Police said the driver may have been speeding when he crashed. A passenger was transported to Evergreen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said they're investigating the crash.
