EVERETT, Wash. — Police arrested a man on Wednesday believed to have shot and killed a 20-year-old Stanwood man after an altercation at a park near Arlington.
Investigators said the victim was shot Saturday at a gas station near Blue Stilly Park.
He died from his injuries on Monday.
Police said the suspect in the shooting is 41-year-old Dennis Watters of Tulalip.
Prosecutors said the shooting followed a $20 drug deal that went awry.
Watters is being held on $1 million bail at the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree murder, drive-by shooting and rioting.
