MUKILTEO, Wash. — A home invasion robbery that occurred in Mukilteo on Tuesday was drug-related, police said.
Officers said three men forced their way into a 44-year-old man’s home in the 9800 block of Marine View Drive around 9:30 p.m.
Police said the victim had marijuana as part of what was described as a collective medical marijuana garden. The three intruders took the marijuana and left the home in a fourth man’s car.
Investigators said a gunshot was fired from the car as it left.
Detectives said they executed a search warrant on one of the men’s cars and found evidence, including a handgun believed to have been used during the robbery.
The four men are being held at the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, four counts of first-degree assault, and drive-by shooting.
