Bremerton mayoral candidate banned from Starbucks stores

During an online radio debate between Bremerton mayoral candidates Sunday night, it was revealed that one of the challengers has a lifetime ban from Starbucks.

BREMERTON, Wash. — The Kitsap Sun reported that challenger Todd Best said he had a disagreement earlier this year with an employee who threw his cellphone into the garbage can.

Best said the employee was not happy with the way he discussed about the incident with her, and she didn’t feel comfortable having him in the store.

According to the Kitsap Sun, Starbucks then issued a lifetime ban against Best, who frequented the store located on Silverdale Way.

Best said the ban will not interfere with his abilities to carry out the job of mayor if elected.
