SEATTLE — Seafair president Beth Knox announced Monday that Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship will play the Finish Line Festival & Headliner Concert following June’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon & Half Marathon this year.
The June 23 race has a new race course that starts and finishes at Seattle center.
Runners tour some of downtown’s iconic landmarks, head to the shores of Lake Washington and return downtown for a spectacular finish beneath the Space Needle.
Live bands and cheer teams are stationed at every mile on course to keep up the beat.
The fun race weekend kicks off with a two-day Health & Fitness Expo that is free and open to the public.
Over 60 exhibitors will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health and nutritional information and much more.
All runners must visit the Expo to pickup their race number, swag bag and Brooks T-shirt.
