ARLINGTON, Wash. — For the second time in three months, a wallaby has been reported missing.
Keri Rickard is asking people in Arlington to keep an eye out for her 35-pound marsupial.
The 2-year-old wallaby, Taz, disappeared Monday. He is less than 3 feet tall, weighs about 35 pounds and has a gray-brown coat with a white belly.
Rickard thinks something startled Taz, and he jumped the 6-foot fence that surrounds her property.
He was last seen being chased by dogs near Arlington High School.
Rickard got Taz as a baby from Fall City Wallaby Ranch. She says he's a docile pet that usually stays in the back yard and eats grass.
In January, another wallaby, Bella, disappeared along Highway 530.
The search for Bella was eventually called off. She hasn't been found, and there have been no reported sightings.
