One of the most beloved parts of Seattle's Seafair celebration, the Torchlight Parade, will move through the city Saturday night, along with about 200,000 people along Fourth Avenue.
Crowds make their way to downtown Seattle early Saturday morning to stake a curbside seat along the two-and-a-half mile route hours before the 7:30 p.m. start.
Seattle Center will be busy Friday as organizations involved stage for the main event.
More than a hundred floats, marching bands, drill teams and organizations are represented at Torchlight.
You can watch the whole parade to get a clear picture of who and what Seattle is all about.
But it’s not just Seattle, there are groups from all over the state that are represented in the parade: Civic groups, neighborhoods, cultural and ethnic organizations -- a true snapshot of the people that make up our communities.
All the details of how to watch the parade, from both home and in downtown Seattle, are below.
