BELLEVUE, Wash. — Detectives were called to the Ridgedale apartments in Bellevue Saturday afternoon after a body was discovered by maintenance workers.
The workers were checking on flooding in the apartment complex when they found the woman's body in a vacant apartment.
Workers told detectives they had not been in that unit in more than three weeks as that area of the complex is undergoing extensive renovations.
The King County medical examiner will perform an autopsy and the woman will be identified after her next of kin is notified.
