SAN JUAN ISLAND, Wash. — A woman captured video of several orcas as she kayaked off the coast of San Juan Island.
The encounter happened Aug. 26 near Roche Harbor.
Michelle Feis said there were about 30 orca whales in the group.
According to Feis, the encounter was the thrill of a lifetime even though she was scared.
