Two teenagers dead, three injured after street-race collision

Two teenagers died in a street-racing collision in Redmond, according to police.
Police continue to investigate a street-racing collision that killed two teenagers in Redmond and injured three others -- including a 4-year-old child. 

REDMOND, Wash. — The crash occurred on Friday night in Redmond.

Investigators say they are still looking for a second car they believe was involved in the race.

Two adults and a 4-year-old child were injured.

The accident involved two vehicles, and it happened in the 18400 block of NE 128th.

The collision was related to street-racing, and the driver of the causing vehicle was travelling at over 80 miles per hour, officials say.

Police say an Acura collided with a Honda head-on, along NE 128th Way. The driver and a passenger in the Acura died at the scene.

The Honda was occupied by two adults and a four-year-old child. The adult female in the car was hospitalized with serious injuries; the adult male and child sustained only minor injuries.

Detectives are investigating the cause of the collision.
