A technical issue forced Vice President Kamala Harris’ plane to return to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland Sunday about 30 minutes after departing for a trip to Guatemala and Mexico.
There were “no major safety concerns” in regard to the issue that forced the landing, a spokesperson for Harris said.
“I’m good, I’m good. We all said a little prayer, but we’re good,” Harris said.
She is expected to leave from another plane in about an hour.
