NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — A tractor-trailer carrying a load of empty Mason jars crashed Saturday morning spilling the load of glass across a Texas highway.
New Braunfels Police said the truck’s trailer landed across the center barrier of Interstate 36, causing it to break apart scattering glass jars across lanes in both directions and knocking over a light post, KXAN reported.
An 18-wheeler rollover accident in the area of Hwy 46 South has most of I-35 closed in that area. One person was transported with non-life threatening injuries to a local hospital. The cab of the 18-wheeler caught fire, but the fire is now out. pic.twitter.com/iKkwS7L3Mf

Investigators said a fire that started in the cab of the truck when it crashed has been put out.
One person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews were working to clean up both sides of the highway.
