In a joint news release, from the Copley and Akron police departments, Copley police Chief Michael Mier identified the suspect as Elias Gudino, 58.

Gudino was located Friday afternoon, Mier said. Gudino has been charged with one count of aggravated murder and one count of attempted murder. Additional charges are pending.

A search warrant was obtained and executed at Guino’s house late Friday night into Saturday morning, according to WOIO.

Police say on Friday officers were called about a body that was lying near a roadway near Collier and Wright roads. Once officers arrived, they found a man who was dead. It appeared to officers that the man was bound and gagged. Investigators believe that the body was dumped near the edge of the roadway overnight.

During their investigation, the Copley Police Department found out that Akron Police Department officers found two dead men under similar circumstances at around 8:30 a.m. Akron is not too far from Copley.

Police confirmed to WOIO that all three men were possibly kidnapped outside of Summit County and that they were brought into the Copley/Akron area.

Investigators believe that there may have been other suspects involved.

Autopsies are being conducted by the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office on Saturday. Mier said it appears all three men had bullet wounds to the head. The three men have not yet been positively identified.

Akron and Copley police departments are continuing to investigate the incident working together.
