STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A raid on a Staten Island storage facility yielded no arrests, but officers with the New York Police Department intercepted nearly 300 pounds of weed and thousands of cannabis-oil cartridges before they made it into circulation, multiple media outlets reported.
The raid, which happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, took place at a Travis storage facility and was accompanied by a search warrant, SILive.com reported.
According to WCBS, no arrests have been made.
NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information told SILive.com the drugs were found in a unit rented by an unidentified individual and that no one associated with the storage company has been implicated.
