LAS VEGAS — A $5 investment turned into a rich payday for a New Mexico tourist visiting a Las Vegas casino.
Officials said the tourist won a $10 million Megabucks jackpot at South Point Casino early Monday, KVVU reported.
The winning amount from the slot machine pull was $10,453,269.30, KSNV reported.

According to South Point, it’s the largest Megabucks jackpot in Nevada during 2021, KVVU reported.
It has been a lucrative week for gamblers so far on the Vegas Strip. On Sunday, a tourist from Alaska won $2.1 million on a $40 bet at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the television station reported.
