Kassceen Weaver faces additional charges of concealment of a body. He also was charged with domestic assault and malicious wounding of an adult female, which police later told WTVR was Dina Weaver.
Police received a tip on May 4 to search the couple’s home.
Once inside, police said they found the body of the couple’s son, Eliel Adon Weaver, in the home’s freezer.
Police said Eliel was 5 years old when he died. His cause of death has not yet been determined, WWBT reported.
DNA has indicated that Dina Weaver was Eliel’s mother, but have not said if Kassceen Weaver was the child’s biological father, however both were considered the boy’s custodial parents, WTVR reported.
