Police reported seeing smoke coming from the Prestige Ford Dealership along 116th Avenue Northeast in Bellevue -- just after 3:00 on Saturday morning.
When firefighters arrived, flames were shooting from the roof and they immediately went into defensive mode to tackle the flames.
Crews from Kirkland, Redmond, Mercer Island and Eastside Fire also responded.
They were still on scene putting out hot spots, at around 9:00 a.m.
116th was closed to traffic at around 11:00 a.m. -- between Northeast 8th and Northeast 4th streets.
The Bellevue fire spokesperson said the big concern was that cars inside the dealership might catch fire.
Estimated damage wasn't known on Saturday morning.
