PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A woman was killed in a small SUV when the vehicle went off the road and down an embankment in DuPont, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 3:01 p.m. on March 5, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle going off the road and down an embankment in the 20400 block of Nisqually Road Southwest near DuPont.
When deputies arrived, they found a small SUV down a steep embankment, resting against a tree.
The driver, a 21-year-old woman, was dead inside the car.
