A 2.7 magnitude earthquake was reported between Tacoma and Kent overnight.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said the quake happened at 3:54 a.m. Wednesday near Tacoma, Federal Way and Auburn.
This is the same general area that had a swarm of quakes last week.
That swarm was about 14 quakes centered near Rosedale, Gig Harbor and Tacoma.
The quakes last Wednesday and Thursday ranged from a 1.5 to a 2.8 magnitude.
