Police search for man who tried to rob Bank of America in Auburn

Anyone with information on this pictured man is asked to call police. 

AUBURN, Wash. — Police are searching for the pictured man, who they say tried to rob a Bank of America on Saturday the 21st.

Officials say the man demanded $1,000 – and told the teller he was prepared to shoot if his demands were not met with compliance.

According to police, the teller was able to walk away from the counter. The suspect yelled for her to return, but ultimately he left without money.

The suspect is described by officials as a white man in his mid-20s, 5’09’’, slender, with pale skin, and red ‘scraggly’ facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black or dark hoody with the hood up, a grey baseball cap with “Lrg” written on the front, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers.

The Auburn Police Department asks that anyone with information on the man call them – at either 911 or (253) 288-7403.
