BREMERTON, Wash. — A man was killed and a woman had to be rescued after a crash early Monday down a steep embankment in east Bremerton.
Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue said firefighters were called to the area of Bahia Vista Drive and Sylvan Way about 3 a.m.
They had to extricate the woman from the vehicle about 200 feed down a 45-degree-angle slope. She was taken to a Bremerton hospital with serious injuries.
The man was found dead about 25 feet from the vehicle.
