KING COUNTY, Wash. — King County sheriff’s deputies recently rescued two hikers.
KIRO 7 received body camera video showing the moment that deputies pulled two hikers up near Azurite Lake, which is up in the Cascade mountains. The area is in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, between Otter Lake and Angeline Lake in King County.
Air support crews rappelled down to help the women two weeks ago.
There’s no word on why the women needed to be rescued but the area was rocky.
