Troopers looking for witnesses of drive-by shooting on I-90 near Bellevue

Troopers with the Washington State Patrol are looking for witnesses of a drive-by shooting that took place Wednesday night on Interstate 90 near Bellevue.

At about 10 p.m., troopers responded to a report that a driver was shot at on I-90.

When troopers arrived, they learned the driver was not injured, but their car was struck by bullets.

The driver said he was driving westbound on I-90 near Bellevue in a silver Nissan Altima when a green SUV - possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe - started following the Altima very close.

The SUV passed the Altima on the right and changed lanes back in front of the Altima.

The driver of the Altima flashed their high beams at the SUV and changed lanes to pass while making hand gestures at the SUV.

At that time, the driver of the SUV fired several shots.

The driver of the Altima slowed down and as the SUV passed, more shots were fired.

The SUV fled in an unknown direction.

The driver described the other driver as a Black man with no eyebrows and a medium-length afro.
