WENATCHEE, Wash. — A 65-year-old was injured after a tree “launched from the river” toward the roadway, crashing through his windshield.
The incident happened on southbound SR 207, close to Coles Corner and just two miles south of Lake Wenatchee.
Washington State Patrol said “a downed tree came out of the river and launched itself into the vehicle.”
The extent of the driver’s injuries are unknown.
