Trader Joe’s announces new store coming to Seattle

SEATTLE — Seattle is getting a new Trader Joe’s.

The California-based grocery chain says it’ll be opening a store in the Northgate Station shopping mall.

The company made the announcement on its website on March 27.

The store will be located at 401 Northeast Northgate Way.

Trader Joe’s currently has 30 stores in Washington. Six of those stores are in Seattle:

  • Ballard: 4609 14th Avenue Northwest
  • Capitol Hill: 1700 Madison Street
  • Greenwood: 8726 Greenwood Avenue North
  • Queen Anne: 1916 Queen Anne Avenue North
  • U-District: 4555 Roosevelt Way Northeast
  • West Seattle: 4545 Fauntleroy Way Southwest
