SEATTLE — A 40-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion he burglarized a home in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood.
According to police, the victim called 911 around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after she and her children heard a noise at their downstairs door.
When she looked outside, police said she saw a male leaving from the backyard and called 911.
West Precinct officers located the suspect several blocks away. Police said the victim positively identified him as the man she saw leaving her backyard.
Officers searched the suspect and found checkbooks belonging to the victim, police said. The suspect was booked into King County Jail on suspicion of burglary.
