Snohomish deputy helps dog deliver puppies while on duty

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — A Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputy can now add birthing coach to his resume.

Last week, Deputy Senseney responded to help with a medical call.

When he arrived, the department said he discovered that a mama dog was in the middle of giving birth.

“He quickly stepped in, offering gentle pets and plenty of reassurance,” the department shared with a video of the call online.

With his help, the dog safely delivered two Boston Terrier Pug puppies.
