KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — A no-contact advisory was issued Thursday for the Port Washington Narrows and Sinclair Inlet due to a sewage spill, according to the Kitsap Public Health District.
The public is being advised to avoid contact with the affected areas of water after officials say 82,400 gallons of sewage spilled Wednesday. The spill was reported by Bremerton Public Works and Utilities.
People were also advised not to harvest shellfish in the affected areas during the advisory.
