SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department's 911 center experienced temporary technical issues Tuesday morning.
The announcement was made on Twitter at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
If you are calling 911 from a cell phone in Seattle, it is taking up to 30 seconds to connect to one of our operators. Please do not hang up. Please wait through the pause and you will be connected.
The issue was resolved at about 11 a.m., according to a tweet from SPD.
