Renton police search for missing 23-year-old man

RENTON, Wash. — Renton police are asking for the public's assistance in the search for a missing 23-year-old man.

Jorge Subuyuj-Paredes has not been seen since July 29.

Police described Subuyuj-Paredes as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has shaggy brown hair and a medium build, police said.

According to Renton police, Subuyuj-Paredes also has a scar on his right ankle from recent surgery, as well as scars on the webbing between his pointer, middle and ring fingers. He currently wears a cast on his right foot/leg and uses a cane to walk. Both of his ears are pierced.

Police said Subuyuj-Paredes frequents areas within Renton and Kent, including Liberty Skate Park and Renton Transit Center, and has been spotted at the REACH Soup Kitchen off Rainier Avenue North in Renton.

If you see Subuyuj-Paredes, you are asked to call 911 and reference case No. 19-8877.
