Summer weather is on the way to the Seattle area for the rest of the week, throughout the weekend, and beyond.
Thursday morning was cloudy, and areas to the north saw the remnants of scattered showers from Wednesday.
Those showers have cleared and we’re expecting a mostly sunny Thursday with highs in the upper 70s. Seattle’s high will be 75 degrees.
A chance for very light scattered showers is possible throughout Thursday across western Washington, with a slight chance of thunderstorms across the northern Cascades.
Friday will be drier and slightly warmer than Thursday. Highs in the mid-to-upper 70s are expected Thursday, Friday, and throughout the weekend with a mixture of clouds and sun.
Starting Monday, more sunshine is in the forecast with a long stretch of warm, mostly sunny days set to be in place for a while.
