FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Officers with the Federal Way Police Department are searching for a suspect in a bank robbery on Monday.
Police said the robbery happened just before 10 a.m. at Key Bank located in the 1900 block of SW Campus Drive.
“The suspect, described as a black female, entered the bank and produced a note demanding money from the teller,” a spokesperson for the Police Department wrote in a news release.
Police said the suspect implied she had a weapon, but it was not seen by the employees.
A teller gave the woman an undetermined amount of money and she fled on foot, police said.
No injuries were reported and the investigation remains ongoing.
